LaSER is an interdisciplinary research laboratory  focused on issues at the boundary between economics, philosophy and other social sciences such as sociology and anthropology. We work in the field of institutional economics, with a special emphasis on normative issues. Our research is focused on Corporate Social Responsibility, Business Ethics, Distributive Justice and, more generally, to all the social norms and good practices that make possible the functioning of a well ordered economic system. We borrow most of our tools from game theory , behavioural economics and bounded rationality models. So we deal with formal modeling for the emergence and stability of social institutions, analytical theories in political and moral philosophy and the behavioral approach to fairness and reciprocity. We run experiments in cooperation with  the Experimental Lab at the University of Trento and organize regularly summer schools which are attended by internationally renown scholars
